Unless you know that you prefer something heavier or something lighter, we strongly suggest that you stick to 10% of your body weight. It is not recommended that anyone unable to remove the blanket from their body by themselves, or anyone under the weight of 20 kgs, use our weighted blankets.

We know that our customers will love their Sleepist Weighted Blanket; however, if during the first 30 days you decide that you would prefer a different product or that your purchase is not a good fit for your situation, you are more than welcome to request a Return Authorisation Number. Please email us at support@sleepist.com.au and include the following information to enable us to expedite the returns process –

• Order number
• Name on order
• Email address as per this order
• Shipping address
• Reason for returning the product
• Your choice of refund or exchange
• A photo of the blanket in its original packaging.

Please note that customers are responsible for all return packaging and shipping charges. Returns must be submitted within 30 days of delivery, and the return item must be undamaged. However, if your product has arrived defective or damaged, please immediately contact customer service within 30 days to return such item for an exchange or refund. A description of the defect or damage and photo verification must be included in your email.

There are ties that connect the inner weighted blanket to the outer cover. We suggest that, when you receive your Sleepist Weighted Blanket, you unzip the cover to ensure that all ties are secured. This will prevent the blanket from pooling in one place.

The outer covering of our weighted blanket is 100% Minky polyester, while the weighted material is made from non-toxic high-density SGC-certified glass beads. The weighted inner section is manufactured from a 100% premium cotton material, with a thin layer of polyester filling inside the blanket.

If it’s a really hot night, keep in mind that the Sleepist Blanket cover is completely removable. Simply remove the outer cover to reduce heat, and continue using the blanket. We do recommend that very hot sleepers use air-conditioning in their bedroom in order to reduce the room temperature.

Yes, you can. Your Weighted Blanket is completely machine washable. Separate the cover from the blanket and launder them separately on gentle cycle. Our blankets are safe to tumble dry; however, it is not recommended that you do this too frequently as the integrity of the fabrics may deteriorate. Due to the heavy weight of our weighted blankets it’s not recommended that you place a weighted blanket on top of any animal. It could be extremely difficult, if not impossible, for a pet to get out from underneath the blanket. It would be perfectly safe for your pet to lie on top of the weighted blanket; however, they may damage the blanket with their sharp claws.
